South Duval Gallery & Cafe Neighborhood "HOWL"
The quiet upper Duval neighborhood of small unique shops and cozy bars and lavish restaurants opens their doors for the full moon. Between Truman and United Streets, open 7 to 10 p.m. with food & drink specials, music, hospitality, arts and entertainment.

High-speed powerboats continue Key West’s longstanding tradition in a challenge described as the Indianapolis 500 of powerboat racing.

Key West High School is the location for the 3rd Annual Key West R4 Fair, from noon to 3 p.m. The free-admission event offers fun, food, live music by Mary Spear, green product exhibits and educational games in the Key West High School courtyard and cafeteria. Focused on teaching the R4 values of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Rot (i.e. compost).

Presented by Coffeemill Dance Studio, the performance is to feature Key West Contemporary Dance Company’s lively spin on the classic Nutcracker ... “Cracked!” choreographed by Kyla Piscopink. Plus, ‘Key West Contemporary Dance Company’ and student dancers in Prokoviev’s much loved “Peter and the Wolf,” choreographed by Penny Leto and Francine Kreinces. Tickets $20,$25 and $35 ($15 student tickets available at door day of concert). Showtime 8 p.m., Tennessee Williams Theater.

WomanKind’s 9th Annual Survivors Reunion Concert
The Survivors, a tropical fusion band popular in Key West during the 80s, return to perform. Guests can dance in the sand on Higgs Beach and enjoy a BBQ dinner. Band to play from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets $20 in advance at Salute, Blue Heaven Gift Shop, WomanKind (3142 Northside Dr.), Good Food Conspiracy (Big Pine) and Centennial Bank branches in Key West, Summerland and Big Pine. Tickets $25 at the door.
