Local authors give free readings of their latest works at the Waterfront Playhouse on three Tuesdays: May 2, 9 and 16, 8:30 p.m.

The famous play by Tennessee Williams, a former Key West resident, is presented at Waterfront Playhouse, Tifts Lane, 8:30 p.m.

Performance at St. Paul's Presents Pianist Franko Richmond
The classically-inspired pianist and composer is to perform at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 401 Duval Street.

May 18 to May 20 in Marathon
Three concerts are to coincide with the Marathon Offshore Grand Prix near the Seven Mile Bridge. The Edgar Winter Band and Kansas are featured Thursday. Rick Derringer and Alto Reed receive top bill Friday. Saturday features Mark Farner, formerly of Grand Funk Railroad and Kosmo, the band started by former members of Boston.

Student dancers are to perform Pocahontas and Dancing to Duets at the Glynn Archer Performing Arts Center at the Key West High School, Flagler Avenue. Show times are to be at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
