  • The marvelous whodunit, Mousetrap comes to Marathon Community Theatre with performances Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. May 2-4; May 9-11; and May 16-18, plus a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee May 19. This record-breaking, longest running murder mystery play features a brilliant surprise ending from Dame Agatha Christie, the foremost mystery writer of her time. Tickets $28. 5101 Overseas Highway.

  • Newly renamed to honor tournament founder Bob Traa, this team event allows two to four anglers per team/boat, who fish three nights with three different captains at three different bridges: Bahia Honda, Long Key and the world-famous Seven Mile.   • Cash and prizes will be awarded for the heaviest fish and to anglers who finish second through fifth place in this popular, annual tournament. There are four categories for prizes: professional, weekend warrior, ladies, and junior angler. There is to be a captain's meeting Friday night and one day of fishing on Saturday, followed by an awards banquet Saturday night at Marathon Yacht Club, 825 33rd St. Gulf. The event benefits Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys.
